Faculty and Departments

To meet the requirements of fundamental and pragmatic education the Institute emphasizes and encourages professional development for faculty and staff. Above 70% of faculty have science degrees and honors. On the whole, the teachers to students ratio is 1:7. This ratio meets the university norms of Europe and the USA.

There are the following Departments and Divisions at the Institute: Economics and Management Department, Finance Department, Criminal Law and Criminology Department, Civil Law Department, Theory and History of State and Law Department, Constitutional Law Department, Economic Cybernetics Department, Tourist and Hotel Management Department, Mathematics and Information Technologies Department, Foreign Languages Department, Management and Social Technologies Department, Exercise, Sport, and Leisure Studies Department.

The scientists of the Institute take active part in community projects. Our scientists aid these projects by conducting intensive research concerning the development of the recreational facilities of Berdyansk so that the city has elevated it status to an international resort city.

Taking state examination

The Institute has good material basis, namely: campus buildings, classrooms, computer and other specialized labs and a library with more that 150 000 entries that let students study and make their research work.

Recruitment

The Institute pays much attention to recruiting high school graduates who are strongly committed to learning. Those students study Preparatory Courses.
