Educational institution of new type - ARMI
Azov Regional Management Institute (ARMI) affiliated to Zaporizhya State University - is an institution of higher learning founded in 1993. ARMI was accredited and enrolled to the State List of Higher educational institution of Ukraine. The Institute enters the scientific and teaching unit "Zaporizhya State University". Azov Regional Management Institute is an educational institution of а new type that meets the highest demands to the modern higher education.
The teaching stuff and students of the ARMI are optimistic regarding their future. They tend to fulfil their dream to make Berdyansk the center of business and cultural life of the North Sea рге-Azov Region.
Azov Regional Management Institute is open for collaboration with different organizations, согporations, establishments and private persons who work hard for reviving, developing and prospering of the democratic Ukraine.
The main goal of the Institute's activities is to prepare specialists who are able to solve the problems regarding the transition to market and socially oriented economy, and to legally ensure this transition. Wide integration and international partnership in the field of up-tо-date educational technologies help to fulfil this task.
Stuff professional, modern equipment, wide international relations give the opportunity for the Institute to reach its main goal, ensure the quality of education according to the world standards.

Educational Services
According to the License of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, ARMI trains students to be highly qualified professionals in: Organization Management (the 3rd level of accreditation; qualification - Manager with the following specialties: Sales Management, Tourism and Hotel Management (includes the advanced courses of the English language and the French language) and information Systems Management); Law (qualifications - "Bachelor" and "Lawyer- specialist"); Finance (qualification economist). ARMI is constantly developing the range of courses. All specialties, that we offer, are of great demand at the labor market. The courses preparing specialists in Economic Cybernetics and International Trade will start soon.
Departments of Economics, Civil and Criminal Law, History and Theory of Governance and Law, Information Systems, Tourism and Hotel Management, Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Management and Social Technologies and Physical Training provide training of specialists.
Higher education in specialty of Law (Bachelor of Law, а 4,5 year part-time course), Management of Corporation (qualification "Manager", а 5,5 year part-time course), "Finance " (а 5,5 year раrt-time course).
А special course is offered for persons with higher education who would like to get another specialty, namely in "Finance and Credit" and "Management of Corporation".
Brief survey of educational concept
Courses in Management include Theory and Practice of Market Economy, Management, Marketing, Finance, Тах Policy, Accounting, Social and Psycholоgiсаl Aspects of Managing, Ethics of Business Talk. The students gain the management skills in the economic, financial and administrative activities under the market economy relations; they receive substantial knowledge of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The future lawyers get deeply into the theory and history of governance and laws of Ukraine and foreign countries the systems of laws and regularities, general juridical notions and categories. The students learn how the mechanism of law regulation works in different spheres of the social life. А law graduate of the Azov Regional Management Institute - is the universal specialist who has received the all-round juridical training in law making process, execution of law, and also scientific research activities. Deep academic knowledge, professional skills of the graduates let them work successfully in the juridical bodies, at the police, the prosecutor's offices, in the courts, at the law departments of the organizations of different forms of property. They can practice law and be involved in the notary's activities.
In addition to the special courses all the students of the Azov Regional Management Institute possess wide humanitarian knowledge, skills in fluent English and professional work with PC they master new technologies in the MS DOS and Windows, work both with text and graphic editors, data bases and in the Internet. The wide range of special courses responding the modern demands to the higher education under the market economy is offered to the students. All these ensure the quality of education and new approach to teaching and learning.
The Institute possesses all the necessary conditions for fulfilling its concept, which embraces the fundamental and the pragmatic education.
Teaching stuff scientific activities and international contact
The teaching stuff is highly qualified and experienced. More than 70 per cent of the academic stuff hold scientific degrees and honors. In fact, one faculty member works per each 7 students, which corresponds to the University standards in the USA and Western Europe. The Azov Regional Management Institute has up-to-date and constantly developing teaching and research resources: rooms, laboratories, studies, computer classes and library with more than 150.000 entries and all necessary conditions for favorable scientific and learning activities.
ARMI Departments are involved into academic researches and issuing literature on sciences and methods of teaching. Scientists of the Azov Regional Management Institute participate in developing of projects and programs of the International Ecological Fund the "Sea of Azov", run the laboratory of economic and legal research of issues of small seaside towns, conduct intensive investigation of ways of the further development of the recreational possibilities of Berdyansk as an international resort.
The Institute has developed close contacts with many international organizations, funds, educational establishments of the USA, the United Kingdom, France, Greece and Poland. Distinguished specialists from near and far abroad lecture at ARMI. Students and faculty members have been trained in, the European countries, the USA and Canada. The creative and friendly networking between the Azov Regional Management Institute and Lodz affiliation of the Bielsko-Biala Polytechnic Institute (Poland) is а vivid example of mutual collaboration.
Our graduates
The graduates of this specialty occupy the highly paid and prestigious job positions as top managers in trading companies, tourism firms and hotels; they are the heads of the information analytical services and other departments of the organizations, banks and establishments. They occupy the positions of marketing managers in the field of sales management, financial and banking services, tourism, hotel and resort services.
According to evaluation of independent experts Аzоv Regional Management Institute entered the top ten non-governmental higher education institutions in Ukraine. Students and graduates of the ARMI are of great demand for job positions on the part of big banks, corporations and small business firms both in Ukraine and abroad. They occupy job positions in local government, business and legal offices.
Students' life
Within the time of studying at the Institute, students gain the experience of practical work in the organizations, enterprises, firms and other corporations. They have several special internships: observatory, management, practical and pre - diploma. This allows students, being at the 4'" and 5'" year of studying, look for their future job positions. As а result almost all graduates take prestige jobs.
One more specific feature is an active research work of students, their participation in the Days of Science and Career, in conferences, in conducting researches at the order of corporations along with publishing science articles and other science materials.
Students of the Azov Regional Management Institute take part in the life of the community. They can participate in the non-governmental organizations such as Local Committee of AIESEC, KASPAR (Association of Law Students and Law Postgraduates), Women' s Movement "Women of Azov", French Club "Friends of Le-Saine-sur-Маге", Greek Society, Discussion Club "Humanita", Archeological Society "Olvia-Argo" and Local Committee of "Teachers for Peace and Mutual Understanding". The non-governmental organizations AIESEC, KASPAR and "Women of Azov" have their offices, modern computer equipment and means of communication that enables them to conduct conferences, workshops, trainings and publish their booklets.
The Institute provides all facilities for recreation and entertainment of students. The dometry with сafе and disco-dance club is located in the center of the city in the seaside area.
In addition to the social activities, а large number of sport teams are available ranging from tennis, volleyball, basketball, bodybuilding, mini-football and aerobics to martial arts.
Students may participate in the KVN-team, sports games, dance parties, tourism and travelling. Students edit and publish students' magazine "Gaudeamus" where they highlight the life of the Institute.
Great attention is given to the applicants who would like to be submitted to the Institute after graduating from the Azov Lyceum and the Preparatory Department.
The Azov Lyceum is а high school of the new type. In the Lyceum students meet all facilities for their intellectual and creative development. Неrе they obtaining high education and special training in Economics, History and Law.
Berdyansk is the best place to study
Azov Regional Management Institute is located in the city of Berdyansk, which is an ecologically clean city at the Sea of Azov shore. The city of Berdyansk is famous for its sunny days, which are more per year than in the world known resort Nizza. The ancient land of the North pre-Azov region famous since the time of Herodotus (V century В. С.) as "Aghara", is remarkable for its lovely, friendly and international atmosphere.
Berdyansk is а city with а big sea port and resort facility. The sandy beaches of Berdyansk attract more than 500.000 tourists in summer.
History of education in Berdyansk has its own old and rich traditions, which are developing in our days. Thus, in the building, where ARMI is located now, at the beginning of the century the Technical High School was located.
